twilight,new moon,eclipse,breaking dawn (the only books i read)

I was never a book reader( I don’t even read my school books except if there’s an text on the next day) nor was I a big fan of reading those books that was translated into a movie(ha! Translated!). Don’t get me wrong I’m into the movies it’s just that even when great movies came from great book I never really get the interest on reading their books (ex. Harry Potter and the Notebook). I love their stories in the movie or in motion pictures but I always get bored reading their books.
Then after I watch this film (of course ‘TWILIGHT’) I never thought that the day where I’m going to eat my own words would come. I said during my first review of the film that I was never going get involve in reading the book even if I really love the characters in the movie (ohhhh Edward!) but when my friend was reading the book I got curious on what got her interest in reading that particular book. And during my speech class I got really bored and instead of going to sleep I ask my friend if I could borrow the book that she was reading so that I wont fall a sleep and then she handed it to me. I know that eventually I would also get bored reading it because seeing how thick it was! I know I would not finish it in just one seating even for the whole day or whole week it would take me a year to finish that book not to mention that it has 4 series and I’m only reading the 1st book. After she handed it to me I estimated 4 years just for me to finish reading all 4 series of it, but I was wrong! I thought that the words are in deep English that it would be sooooo hard to understand but when I flip to the 1st page my friends were actually right it was so light, interesting and easy to understand.
After I read the first chapter I could not help but to finish the whole book and because the book was not mine and my friend was still reading it and that I could not buy one from the book store because it was all sold out, it made me soooo eager to read the whole book so I borrowed one from my other classmate who has the collection of all 4 series and that she was already finish reading them (ALL). So after I finish reading the book (I finish reading it within 3 days AMAZING!!!!) I could not help but to borrow the 2nd book from my classmate (I could not buy it because it was still sold out!). The book is really addictive I must say because I even sneak reading it while my professor was discussing our lesson. After I was finish with 2nd book I bought the 3rd and the last book (thank God they were available! though they were really expensive!) so that I would not borrow it from anyone any more (and also I fell so abusive to my friends when I borrow something from them). And now I am finish reading the last book of the ‘TWILIGHT SAGA’ which is breaking dawn.
Before I end this review I would like to give you a little insight about the 4 books and what stories they contain!!! This kind of a spoiler so don’t read it if you don’t want me to spoil anything!!!Hehehehe!!!

1st book is of course Twilight. This book tells how Isabella Swan and Edward Cullen (the vampire) met and fell in love, it also tells about how Bella found out about Edward being a vampire. This is also where Edward saved Bella from another kind of vampire who tries to kill Bella of course. This is a book filled with both romance and action.

The 2nd book is New Moon. This book made me cry literally because of how their relationship turned out. In this book is full of romance and this contains how Edward left Bella because he thinks that if he is always near her she would also be near in danger and he does not want anything to happen to Bella. In this book also is where Bella discovers another secret only this time it’s about her best friend Jacob Black (who turns out to be a werewolf). In this book contains how Bella develop a good friendship with Jacob and how Edward was willing to die right after he thought Bella died after jumping a cliff. This is the very heart-warming and romantic book because it shows how Bella really misses Edward coz no matter how far Edward was she could hear his voice and she is still hoping to see him again. But that dream of hers didn’t fail her because at the end of the story they got back together again.

The 3rd book is Eclipse. This is where Bella was hunted by Victoria who got her self a new born army just to kill Bella just to avenge her mate that Edward killed in the 1st book. This is where Bella and Edward got Engage and this is where Jacob confess his feelings for Bella but he definitely got hurt because Bella just think of him as a friend and nothing more than that. Just for Bella, Edward and Jacob (the vampire and the wolf) set aside their differences and work together as a team just to protect Bella from the new born army who wants to kill her.

The last book of the series is Breaking Dawn (which I already finish reading) tells how Edward and Bella got married and how they gain a child and named her Reneesme. In this story Bella got turned into a vampire after giving birth to their child. She also discovers her gift of being a shield against the gift of other vampire. She discovers this after the Volturi (powerful coven of vampires) paid them a visit to see their rare child. They gathered a lot of friends to be their witness so that the Volturi would listen to their story and would let Reneesme live together with them. In the end of the story they lived happily ever after because they got their wish of saving Reneesme and the rest of their family and friends. And they would live forever!!!

This book really got my interest and hopefully if you would read it no matter how thick the book is it would also get your interest and that you would say that I am not lying on how interesting reading could be. Trust me it really is interesting I eat my own word remember!!!=]

CAS week

Finally the long wait for the TUA CAS week is over. There would be no classes for 3 days and during those days where we had to attend some of the activities in the CAS week(where we were obligue to attend) we can wear our wash day clothes.
The CAS week(college of Arts and Science) is full of fun filled activiteis. Theres the Mr.& Ms. CAS personality, sportsfest, B2B bingo, cake raffle, the amazing race, the cultural night, and lots more. All those activities includes both the faculty & the students. All courses in the CAS (Legma, Psych, Masscom, & Comsci) are part of the program even their professors participated in the program.

During the opening service(I was not able to attend) there was a Mass held at the Patio Trinidad. After the ceremony there was a lecture series( again I did not attend so less detail) which was held in the Mandell hall auditorium and there were 2 speakers which was Dr. Eva S. Villanueva and the guest speaker was Dr. Benilda Santos I heard that the speakers were really facinating and that the talk was not boring at all. After the lecture series around 5 pm the Mr. & Ms. CAS personality begun which was held at the campus gymnasium. We were kinda disappointed that our bet for the said competition lost but but still the winner came from our department and that our favorite contestant won some awards.

On the next day the activities started as early as 9 am. When I got to school I immidietly went to the gymnasium. The first activity that we (me together with me fellow trinitians) watch was the parade. After the parade they officially opened the sporsts fest though the sports competition already started a couple of weeks ago. After the opening ceremony the cheerdance competition took place, there were only 3 competitors for this competition:the blue team which was the psych students, the green team which was the comsci students and the pink team which includes the merge of the masscom and legma students the psych team won but the one who brought the crowd into the limit of their laught was the comsci team(they were all boys)and ofcourse the masscom team was also gave their best. After the cheerdance competition at 11 am they started the basketball tournament it was between the masscom team and the faculty team.

During the tournament (wich we watch when it was at the 2nd quarter) I notice that it was really a hot fight between the 2 teams. The gymnasium was starting to be filled with students who does not even belong to CAS, they were cheering for both team. The court was starting to heat up the students forgot that they were competing agauinst the faculty which were also their professors. The tournament was hosted by MR. Cantal and Nina( masscom professor and masscom student). Sir Bon was the crowds favorite for the faculty team not only because of his looks but also because he was one of the best players for the faculty. While in the other team (the massom ponkan team) the highest pointer was De Castro who had his head heated up during the tournament. It started when one MCO player got hit by the aculty ball in the face(it was unintentionally) that what brought the heat on the game, because De Castro thought it was intentionally done by the faculty. The heat didnt stop there another thing that brought the commotion inside the court is when one player entered the court and the MCO said that the player was not part of the line up, but still the player was justified to be in the line up and that he was allowed to play. The game ended with the score of 91-90 in favor of the MCO giving them the 3rd place spot in the CAS basketball tournament. The faculty then showed that there were on heart feelings and even took pictures with the MCO team. After the basketball tournament the B2B bingo sosyal and cake raffle took place inside the campus gymnasium thought I didnt watch this nor attend this activity I heard that there were alot of students who won the raffle. After the raffle and bingo a few hours later the Cultural Night started. We were expecting the Cultural Night to be like our JS prom were the students would party but we thought of it wrong. The Cultural Night is the Night where we can see all our profesors become versitile. We saw them dance sing and everything. The program has alot of activities where there were the "celebrity duets" concept and the sing and dance contest of each faculties and professors. For the celebrity duets where the professors sings together with their choosen students, mr. velesques together with his partner took 3rd place, Mr. Cantal and Shane Herramis took 2nd place(they were our bet) and lastly it was mr. Caleb and his partner who won the 1st place. For the sing and dance competition of each faculty I didnt exactly know who won but what I know is that its was the dept. of humanities and letters who got the crowd out of their sit and kjam with them. All and all there was no dull moment in the program all had fun.

The final day of celebration arrived but still its was filled with alot of activities. At the beginningthere was the amazing race where I heard the faculty won. The volleyball championship for but male and female took place. For the volleyball(wich i watch) the Psych team won the championship for the girls and its the MCO team who won the championship for the boys. After the volleyball tournament the basketball championship between the psych A team and the Comsci team took place. Though i wasnt able to attend all the activities cause I was not in school all day still got information about what happend.

Now that the CAS week is over its back inside the classroom for all of us. Well we will just wait for the University week to arrived so that we could also join some of the programs. Sorry for the lack of photos it could not fit in my blog!!!=]

Twilight(movie review)

Twilight is about a vampire who fell inlove with a girl. Its about love against all odds. If i would to rate the movie i would probably give it a perfect 10 because there was no dull moment in the movie.


I am more of a movie critique than a boOk critique. I havent even read the book yet and have no plans on reading it(hehehe).

Early this morning I had 2nd thought of watching the movie because the movie will start at the same time as the mr. and ms. CAS personality in our school will occur. But eventualy i have made up my mind. Later that afternoon me and my friends went to the cinema to replace our tiket with the theater tikets(cause ours was complimentary). We had an advance reservation so that we would not get caught up in line. Anyways I got interested in watching the movie because of my friends and plus I have heard that that movie was a block buster in the United States, so when my friends ask me to come with them i didnt hasitate to say yes.

Before i get to the movie I let my friends do some shopping while I go to the school to do some things. While i was waiting for my friends in our meeting place I noticed that theres alot of people filled up for the movie its a good thing that we had reservation if not we would wait for that line to be small in nos.(hehehe). As the movie starts I notice that the theater was filled with people and it looks like there is no vacant seat anymore. But we reserved for a seat so there is no reason for us to panic(hehehe like we did panic).
At the start of the movie i can hear girls screaming its like we were watching a horror film and all were frightened. We were eating popcorn when heard a even louder scream from the girls behind us and when we looked at the screen the hale-cullin were entering the sceen(thats the family of Edward in the movie) and I was really excited to see them. I already know Robert Pattinson because I have watch him in the Harry Potter movie.
The movie was great I enjoyed watching it and I was kinda inlove with Robert Pattinson in that moment.

masscomm vs. psych(basketball tournament

I can still remember how i cheer for the Ateneo Blue Eagles during the UAAP season 71 finals.I also remember how i jupmed for joy during the final game of Ateneo vs. La Salle when Ateneo were declared as the UAAP season champion. During those days I cheer for a different school and a different varsity team.

Those days are gone now now that the season ended, all those cheering paid off. Now is the time to cheer for my own team(the MCO team). I really love basketball not because of the players(like what they always say) but also for the excitement it brings to me.

Now back to the topic. Early this morning I doubt that I could make it to school just in time for the game but when i arrive at school it turns out that was very early and that MCO game will be the 2nd game of the.

I had a lot of time before teh game starts so i go out of the campus first to rent a computer for some movie watching. After renting I got back to the campus and it turns out that the game was not over yet so I had no chance but to watch it.

The first game was between the Legma(legal management)team and the Psych(Psychology A)team. I could give a little review of this game cause only watch from almost 3rd quarter. I notice that the team scorer or pointer for the Psych team was Kyoumarsi(hope i got the name right) who was in jersy no 9 for he did not leave the court to rest not even once. And for the Legma team it was De Castro who was wearing an Ateneo jersy no 7. The crowds favorite was Antonio wearing jersy no 9 for the psych and Dave for the legma team who was in jersy 7. After a close fight psych team won with the score of 86-75 they were always in the lead.

After the 1st game was the MCO vs psych B game. But before I give the story let me first give you the line up of players:

The starting five for the MCO team(who was in Orange jersy) were Barbosa, Buenaventura, Demesa, Rodrigues, and Camarillas for the Psych B team(who wears a light blue jersy) were joshy, Exibititionist,sadist, Schizoids 2 and paranoid. During the 1st quarter Buenaventura tries to score so whenever he gets the ball he does not hasitate to shoot it(eventhough he fails a couple of time). The reall scorer for the MCO team was Demesa while for the Psych team it was Joshy. MCO comited alot of penalty that gives the Psych team alot of free throws. The 1st quarter ended with MCO on the lead with a score of 16-12. During the 2nd quarter MCO takes a hold on their lead and Demesa continues to score for the team and Joshy for the Psych B team. Since Demesa was invoking a fight(well atleast I think he was) by doing the "you cant see me" hand the referee had to bench him. The MCO team was really noisy when they cheer for the team the referee eventualy has to stop them. The 2nd quarter ended up with the score of 35-30. During the 3rd qurter i notice(since i was seating near each team) that the coach of the Psych team A(who was in game 1) also became the suporting coach of the Psych team B. I can hear them shouting to put their hands up so that they would not be called any foul or to provoke a fight. The coach and the others were shouting "taas lang kamay para hindi makasuntok o mafoul" and the players followed their coach and when i looked inside the court i saw all the players with their hand raised up. During the 3rd quarter joshy was replaced giving their team a hard chance to score and the MCO takes that as an advantage. MCO let DeCastro who brought a lot of scores for his team. The quarter almost ended up with a tie but of course the MCO team did not let that happen they ended the quarter with the score of 56-57. In the 4th quarter Joshy was back for the psych team but even with joshy back MCO was still in the lead and ended the game with a win with the score of 77-70. After the game teams shook hands to show sportsmanship.

During the game Joshy was the favorite freethrower of the Psych team and did not disappoint his team mates. He was the highest scorer for their team. After the our game there was another game but I had to leave early so I didnt watch it.

I want to give a little insight about the game. in that game there were no electronic score board not any shot clock. All was counted manualy. I got a little anoyed for the fact that the one who was handling the score board were not really paying attention to the game(well dont get me wrong thats what i notice). I have a scoring board of my own just to be updated and mine was like 3 times better than their score. The coach of the other team( Psych B) was reminding them to be alert so that no one will invoke any fight cause some of the members where hot headed. Well thats what i noticed.

College Life

as i write this blog i want to take a look back when i was just starting to find a school for me to take up my corse(which i have already decided long before i figure what school i want to go to). my mom was eventualy the one who choose the school for me. when she choose Trnity University of Asia(she thought it was still Trinity College) i was not infavor of the school coz i really want to follow someone in UE...(shhhhhh). but my mom won and i enrolled in TUA luckily they have the course i wanted.
when i first stepped to TUA i was soooo scared cause i was new, eventhough i know that everyone are also new still i had y doubts of being friends with some of them. after 1 month i manage to be friends with some of my classmates. and i even got the chance to be close friends with some of them. but still at that point of time i still miss my old friends cause no one could ever brake the bond between us before. eventhough i know that my old friends has already found new friends .
now that im in my 2nd year in my college life i feel much comfortable now than before(i survived 1 year). during 1st sem i met new classmates cause i enrolled very early thats why i joined the first section i mizz my old section so every now and then i go to their classroom so that i could be free in being my self i was not really comfortable with the 1st section maybe because i was new and felt outcast. =]
anyways now that im in my 2nd sem days i feel more comfortable in being my self cause some of my old classmates and friends from my 1st year section became my classmates.=]

...so i guess thats how life goes...sometimes your nobody still your happy...going with the flow and following your desires (in a good way though)=]

...just like being a student you have to go where the streem would take you!=]
